Any and all hearings occurring during the declared judicial emergency shall take place by video conferencing at remote locations. The parties to a case (i.e. parent, guardian, custodian of the child who is the subject of the hearing) shall be admitted inside the courtroom. In order to comply with CDC social distancing guidelines to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, all other persons (public) wishing to view the proceedings shall be allowed access via a livestream video that will be situated in a different room of the juvenile courthouse. If, for any reason, a member of the public should object to viewing the proceedings by video, the Court will entertain such objection in writing stating the reasons for the objection and file same with the Clerk of the Court. The judge will consider the motion and the reasons contained therein and sustain, overrule, or enter an order specific to the reasons provided in the motion.

Xổ số miền bắc thứ bảyWhile for the safety of all concerned our courthouse building itself is closed to the public, the Juvenile Court Intake and Clerk’s Office are still open and are addressing essential functions.

Please call Intake at (770) 473-5977 during normal business hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday), so that an Intake Officer can screen your situation. If your situation involves an emergency that would require an immediate court order, the Intake Officer will receive your complaint for filing.

Xổ số miền bắc thứ bảyIf you are a parent, guardian, custodian, or witness and have been summoned to a court hearing, please call the number above to speak with an Intake Officer to admit you into the courthouse at the time of your hearing and escort you to the courtroom. 

If you have an emergency at any time, call 911.
